Refund Policy
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which SlideGMM processes refunds for subscription payments. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record.
1. Merchant of Record
All subscription payments for SlideGMM are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the entity responsible for processing your payment, handling billing, issuing invoices, managing refunds, and collecting applicable taxes. Refund requests are coordinated between SlideGMM and Paddle.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund under the following conditions:
- 14-Day Window: Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of the initial purchase or the most recent renewal date.
- Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from using the Services and our support team is unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe.
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period.
- Unauthorized Transactions: If a charge was made without your authorization.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 14 days after purchase or renewal
- Failure to cancel before an automatic renewal date (you may cancel to prevent future charges)
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (AI outputs are probabilistic and vary by input)
- Partial use of a subscription period
- Violations of our Terms of Service resulting in account suspension or termination
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Step 1 -- Contact Support: Send an email to support@slidegmm.ai with the subject line “Refund Request.”
- Step 2 -- Provide Details: Include your account email address, the date of the charge, the amount, and the reason for your refund request.
- Step 3 -- Processing: Our team will review your request and coordinate with Paddle. You will receive a response within 5 business days.
5. Refund Processing
- Method: Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.
- Timeline: Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement after approval, depending on your payment provider and financial institution.
- Currency: Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original transaction.
- Taxes: Applicable taxes collected by Paddle will be refunded proportionally.
6. Subscription Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are separate actions:
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@slidegmm.ai. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- After Cancellation: Your account is automatically downgraded to the free plan at the end of the billing period. No further charges will be made.
- Refund After Cancellation: Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please submit a separate refund request.
7. Free Trials
If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your payment method will be charged for the subscription. Charges incurred after a free trial are subject to the standard refund policy described above.
8. Consumer Protection Rights
This Refund Policy does not limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Where local laws provide stronger refund protections, those laws will prevail.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or updated effective date on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
